Day 1 : Athens Arrival
Location: Athens
After your arrival in the mythical city of Athens, the transfer to your hotel will be conducted in one of our private vehicles. A member of our English speaking team will meet you at your hotel, help you with the check-in, inform you of all the details of your trip, introduce you to the city and its everyday way of life and answer any questions you have have. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy Athens at your own pace.

Day 2 : Athens - Olympia
Location: Archaia Olympia
Today you will head towards the Corinth Canal, where you will make a brief stop to take some photos and marvel at this famous channel that connects the Aegean Sea with the Gulf of Corinth. With this impressive engineering feat ships can avoid circumnavigating the Peloponnese peninsula for more than 400 km to reach the Ionian Sea. Continuing your tour you will visit the Theater of Epidaurus, worldwide famous for its acoustics and still in use today for a range of performances, especially in the summer. You will also spend time at the museum of Asclepius, father of modern medicine, and then travel to the city of Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece. The journey will take you to Mycenae, where you will visit the prehistoric Acropolis, Lions Gate and the tomb of "Agamenon". In the afternoon you will traverse central Peloponnese and arrive in the city of Olympia in the early evening. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 3 : Olympia - Delphi
Location: Delphi
In the morning you will visit the site of the ancient Olympic stadium, where the first games were held at around 776 BC. The importance of these games was apparent, given the extensive participation of the Greek cities, which suspended hostilities throughout the celebrations. The Olympiad was recognized as the only accepted chronological event all over Greece and, in essence, constituted the period of four years between two consecutive events.
Olympia was also the most important sanctuary of Ancient Greece, a place to worship Zeus, the first among the gods. The gigantic gold and ivory sculpture made by Phidias was considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
After your visit to the Museum of Olympia, you will continue your journey to Delphi traversing the suspension bridge of Rio - Antirion, a modern engineering wonder.

Day 4 : Delphi - Kalambaka
Location: Kalabaka
In the morning and after a solid breakfast you will visit Delphi, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the center or navel of the ancient world. It was here where the renowned Oracle of Delphi, a counsellor of kings and pilgrims, could be found. You cannot miss out on a visit to the museum, which houses the "bronze charioteer", a masterpiece of Greek sculpture.
At the end of your Delphi tour, you will leave the slopes of Mount Parnassus, and head towards the plains of Thessaly, where the city of Kalambaka is located.
Arrival in Kalambaka, dinner and accommodation.
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner Overnight: KalambakaIn the morning we will be transferred to the port of Piraeus to catch the local ferry to Mykonos. Arrival in Mykonos and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5 : Kalambaka - Athens
Location: Athens
Early in the morning you will visit Meteora, also recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 1988. In this mysterious landscape, the natural beauty is combined with the compelling presence of the eternal monasteries suspended or "meteora" on top of the huge rocks. Currently there remain only six in use, five for the male and one for the female monastic community. (Dresscode in the monasteries: Sleeveless clothing and shorts over the knee for men are prohibited. For ladies skirts and shawls are available at the entrance in case they don’t have such clothing to cover themselves.)
On the way back to Athens, you will pass by Thermopylae, where you can see the statue of the Spartan King Leonidas I, famous for leading the battle against the Persians in 480 BC.
Arrival in Athens in the afternoon and drop off at your hotel or the nearest one.

Day 6 : Athens
Location: Athens
After your breakfast and at the appointed time, you will commence the panoramic tour of the Athenian Neoclassical Center: the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the University, the Library, and National Academy, the Ilion Palace, the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Gate, the Panathenaic Stadium, and many other monuments and sites of great interest. You will learn all there is to know about their history and background from the licensed English-speaking Tour Guide accompanying you on this tour.
After the panoramic tour, you will visit the "sacred rock", the spectacular, unique and magnificent Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. The entrance fee to both sites is included. At the end of the visit, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the closest point.

Day 7 : Athens - Mykonos
Location: Mikonos
Early in the morning, one of our private vehicles will be waiting for you along with your assistant to transfer you to the port of Piraeus where you will board the ferry to the famous island of Mykonos. The crossing is scheduled at the ideal time of the day so as to enjoy the sun on deck and marvel at the deep blue of the Aegean sea. The chosen name is said to be "the heap of stones" or the "rocky place", but a later version states that the island's name is connected to the hero Mykono, son of the king of Dilos Aniou.
Upon your arrival on the island, one of our English speaking representatives will be waiting to welcome you, transfer you to your hotel and introduce you to this famous island.
The rest of the day is free for you to relax and immerse yourself in the 'slow' way of life of the islanders. Overnight in Mykonos . Meals: Breakfast
Day 8 : Mykonos
Location: Mikonos
Free day to enjoy this magnificent island. Mykonos is the meeting point of the international "jet set", famous for its wonderful beaches, the dazzling shops and vibrant nightlife.
The island's cuisine is mainly Mediterranean, which makes vegetables and olive oil a basic part of the daily menu, as well as certain spices (oregano, basil ...) and on many occasions, fish and seafood.
Just a few minutes away by ferry, it is the historic island of Delos, which, according to Greek mythology, was the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. This small island, inhabited since 3000 B.C., was one of the most important cultural centers of antiquity.

Day 9 : Mykonos - Santorini
Location: Thera
Having enjoyed a tasty breakfast, appreciating life like a Greek, one of our vehicles will pick you up at the agreed time to drive you to the port where you will continue on to your next destination, the island which is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, Santorini. Approaching the island, you will have the opportunity to admire the capital city of Fira, with its white houses overhanging the cliffside and facing the volcano.
Upon your arrival, one of our English-speaking representatives will be waiting for you at the port to welcome you, direct you to your hotel and comment a little more on the highlights of this picturesque island. The rest of the day is free to wander through the narrow streets.

Day 10 : Santorini
Location: Thera
Free day for you and your companion to explore this magical island, considered to be the lost continent of Atlantis, at your own pace. The name of the island was given by the Venetian Giacomo Barozzi due to the presence of a chapel dedicated to Saint Eirini. His descendants remained until 1576, when it became part of the Duchy of Naxos and until the Turkish conquest by Piyale Pasha.
Optionally, you can choose to go on a dazzling sailboat tour that comprises visits to the small islands inside the caldera, Nea and Palea Kameni, with the hot springs of green and yellow waters.

Day 11 : Santorini - Athens
Location: Athens
At the agreed time, you will be transferred to the airport of Santorini, from where you will board your flight back to Athens. Your arrival at the airport will correspond to your international flight, which should preferably have a departure later than 12:30 hrs.

ESKAPAS allows you to make 1 free date changes, as long as the change is made at least 61 days before the start of the tour.

Transfer as credit to Future Tours
ESKAPAS allows you to transfer existing payments to a future tour to avoid cancellation fees if you can't travel and inform eskapas, 61 days before departure.

Low Deposit
ESKAPAS requires a minimum deposit of 20% or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 61 days before departure.

We don't charge a cancellation fee, here is a summary of eskapas charges.
Up to 61 days before tour starts: Forfeit 100% of deposit.
At 45 days before tour starts: Forfeit 25% of booking price.
At 30 days before tour starts: Forfeit 50% of booking price.
At 14 days before tour starts: Forfeit 75% of booking price.
At 7 days before tour starts: Forfeit 100% of booking price.
